He is so amazing in every way without even trying. If my heart had lips, the grin on it would reach the sky. This is all very new. And very nice. I want more.

A New Beginning

This is SUGABUM 2.0. It was time to let the other one go (although I wish I could have kept my old layout). Something about today being a good day and tomorrow being the start of snowboard season makes me feel really, really happy and warm inside. I'm surrounded by interesting and positive people. I'm doing everything I ever wished to do. I understand and accept that the past has come and gone and the future will forever be unknown. That's a universal challenge for everyone. Life is cyclical; it has its ups and its downs. I feel like the lows must be experienced in order to really appreciate the highs. And today I'm in the clouds and all smiles.

Here's an example of what I mean. Below is a quote from my blog post on August 11, 2009, where I felt the exact same way as I do today. Between then and now I've definitely had my ups and downs. Now it's not as important what was going on that day, August 11, 2009, as the fact that the feeling of greatness was there on that day. And although that feeling eventually fades away, it's never really gone forever. I just gotta remember to always keep my head up in order to continue chasing that high.
